Say Cheese!

Griffin stayed awake for a few extra minutes to let us take pictures of him. The next step will be to see if we can get him to open his eyes AND smile at the same time. The jury's still out on whether or not he'll have Bryan/Jack's dimples. So far, we see a lot of Phelps in this one...and after having a mini-Bryan, I think it's my turn to have a clone.

Bedtime Stories

OK, we'll admit it: this photo was completely staged and involved bribery. However, it gave us hope that Jack will eventually be able to come within 6 inches of Griffin without being overcome by the desire to hit him with bath toys. (There was an afternoon incident involving a hockey stick, some bath toys and a balcony...no one was injured, but time-outs were given!)

Why Does Griffin have a Raisin on his Tummy?

Jack checks out Griffin's belly button and proudly illustrates that while Griffin's "looks like a raisin," his is "all better now."

Griffin Thomas Boesen

We welcomed Griffin Thomas Boesen on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 1:13 in the afternoon. He's hearty stock -- 8.9 pounds and 21 inches long. So far, he is quiet and a good sleeper. We're all hoping that continues.
