Memorial Day Weekend, or the day my parents Buzzed my hair
Obviously, we started this post with shock and awe -- Jack's first buzz cut or "summer cut" as Bryan called it. It'll grow on me, literally. Sally, quit crying, it is just hair. We had a busy day after the haircut: digging for dinosaur bones at the Science Center, lunch at the Cub Club with Cubbie Bear (our new best friend), followed with a quick nap (not pictured) and a dip in Grandma Patty's pool. You can tell by his pool outfit he's a big fish in a small pond.

Strike!
Bryan has been working with Jack and his pitching. Notice the professional way he lifts his leg before throwing. This, my friends, is a star in the making.
Desitin Song
Jack and Daddy are both very good at singing and making up songs. Here, they've made up a nice little diddy about Desitin and where it goes. Good to know that toilet humor starts early, but I've got to admit, I LIVE for those belly laughs.
Sofia's Baptism
In April, we got to fly to Chicago for the day for Sofia Natale's baptism. The party girl was adorable in her white gown and cap. Jack and Grandpa Tom hung out in the cockpit (perhaps poor judgement on our part) and luckily, the flight was just fine thanks to pilot JR Boesen. Of course, now Jack has become an adrenaline junkie.
